about me

hello, my name is mikes, and thank you for being here, in this small space i’ve made to share pieces of what i create and love. i am a filipino living in manila, philippines. this all started with a DIY scrapbook memo pad video i posted on my socials, something i made so casually, not really thinking it would turn into anything more. but it slowly became my first art venture, and somehow, over 700+ pads found their way into different hands. it still feels a little unprocessed to me. from there, i realized i wanted to take the things i used to make quietly in my bedroom and let them exist outside of it, to share them with people who might find comfort or joy in them too.

i can’t remember a time in my life when i wasn’t drawn to stationery, journaling, and books. they’ve always been what i turn to when life feels a little cloudy, so getting to share them with others now truly feels like a dream come true for me. i’ve always loved creating, it’s always been my little escape, something i return to when i want to feel like myself again. everything in this shop comes from that place, things i’ve made with intention, pieces i would genuinely use and keep in my own journal. i promised myself i would only ever create like this, in a way that stays honest and true to my heart.

i’m also in the middle of building my life as a doctor, which means my days are often filled with work, learning, and continuous studying/training. it’s a path that asks a lot from me, mentally and physically, so creating art lives quietly in between all of that but it’s something i hold just as close and tethers me to my "whys".

at the end of the day, this shop is simply an extension of my journals, a space where little pieces of my life, memories, and creativity are shared with you and the community. and if anything here finds its way into your own pages, i can only thank you for letting my art projects be part of your memory-collecting and creative process.
